Going on its 14th year, the festival boasts an impressive line up of world-renowned rappers, hip hop groups, and DJs on its eight stages. The festival claims there will be 96 hours of live hop hop music.
A few of this years acts include Prhyme, Ghostface Killah & Raekwon, Mobb Deep, Yelawolf, Joey Bada$$, Hopsin, and Ratking.
The festival will also feature Czech artists such as Sodoma Gomora, Kontrafakt, Smack, Bigg Boss Showcase and PRO8L3M.
Prhyme is a collaboration between Royce da 5’9″ and DJ Premier, who put out an album together in December 2014.
The album got very good reviews. “Sounding both effortless and intricately composed at once, PRhyme is an instant classic, and one that sounds better and better as repeated listenings reveal more of the details hiding behind the album’s deceptively straightforward approach,” Fred Thomas of AllMusic said.
Ghostface Killah & Raekwon are both known for their work in the Wu-Tang Clan, probably the most widely known group to come out of New York City. Ghostface Killah just released Twelve Reasons to Die II, which features Raekwon on five of its 13 tracks.

Raekwon “The Chef,” one of the most visible members of the infamous Wu-Tang Clan, made Hip Hop history in 1995, when he dropped the “Only Built for Cuban Linx” album. Almost two decades later “Only built for Cuban Linx” is considered by fans and critics to be the album that changed the landscape of Hip Hop forever. The video of the hit single “Can It Be So Simple” from the same album spawned a fashion craze, as Raekwon sported a difficult to find “SNOW BEACH” jacket by Ralph Lauren. Raekwon changed the face of Hip Hop through his music while unknowingly influencing a generation with his fashion. The hard to find “Snow Beach” jacket, is now a coveted piece of Hip Hop history. Complex Magazine ranked Raekwon’s use of the jacket in the video, second in “The 50 Greatest Fashion Statements in Rap Video History”, ranking only behind Run DMC’s lace less Adidas, in the “Walk this Way” video. CL-95 is the celebration of this epic moment in Hip Hop music and fashion. Raekwon and his team cooked up the idea in 2014 to create a “Snow Beach” inspired jacket marking the 20 year anniversary of the “Only Built for Cuban Linx” album.
